Kristen Moore
Owner. Educator. Choreographer. Dancer.Kristen is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and teacher whose work has been recognized across the country. She grew up dancing in New Jersey at Stewart Johnson Dance Academy, under the direction of Isobel Johnson and Kim Spolitino. Kristen is the honored recipient of numerous performance awards and scholarships from prestigious competitions and conventions including Dance Masters of America, West Coast Dance Explosion, NYCDA, Legacy, and Showstoppers.
Kristen spent five years as an original cast member of the Hamilton Philip Company on its National Tour. She also performed in the National Tour of West Side Story directed by David Saint. Her regional theater credits include productions at the renowned Goodspeed Opera House, such as Bye Bye Birdie (dir. Jenn Thompson) and The Circus in Winter (dir. Joe Calarco).
Throughout her career, Kristen has worked with some of the dance industry’s most respected choreographers including AC Ciulla, Luis Salgado, Spencer Liff, Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, Mari Madrid, and more. She also served as Assistant Choreographer on Propaganda! The Musical in the New York Musical Festival (NYMF).
In addition to her performance career, Kristen is a passionate and dedicated educator. She is a Certified Acrobatic Arts teacher and she teaches a wide range of styles—ballet, lyrical, hip hop, musical theater, contemporary, jazz, and tap—and is known for fostering a safe and supportive environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow. Her students have earned numerous awards at regional and national competitions, and her choreography has been honored with special recognition in every age division.
Kristen brings a positive spirit and deep love for dance into every studio she enters. She is committed to inspiring the next generation of dancers and continues to share her artistry with heart, skill, and enthusiasm.
